Palm Beach Friday Matinee Preview 9-25-2015

Many of Palm Beach’s top superstars are coming out to show their talent this afternoon which can only mean one thing….it’s Fabulous Friday!Here are the top races I will be following for the start of the weekend racing at “The Beach.”
*The Fox*
Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards
All eyes will be on Rader Racing’s #6 KB’s Like A Fox, who will attempt to tie Ruby’s Dubbie for 7th on the all time wins list at Palm Beach with 71. The best super sprinter ever draws a tough box and coming off two straight bad races. As a fan, I will be rooting like crazy for Fox to continue his historic run. As a player, I have to not play with my heart here.
I’m going with hot shot rookie #8 Amf Bombs Acomin from B & B Racing. Owns the fastest two super sprint times on the season and will be looking for an unheard 8 straight times hitting the Quiniela.
Watch out for #1 Slatex Bakkan who draws the best box and has won 3 straight contests.

*HotFoot Rihanna*
Race 6 Grade A 545 Yards
It might be hard to believe, but #2 HotFoot Rihanna from Suncoast Racing has a chance to grab a share of the season wins lead with a victory in this one. Coming off two blazing victories and a sweet box to break from, Rihanna has a solid shot of pulling out this win.
Rihanna will have her hands full with top puppy prospect #6 Oaks Maddy from Rader Racing. Looked like the star I thought she would be last time out with a 29.60 DH victory. She certainly should be right in the mix this afternoon. Whoever gets the lead between the two probably wins it as neither one of the really possesses a formidable close.
Rihanna continues her impressive season with a victory here.

Race 14 Grade TA 660 Yards
If top middle distance hound #8 Paid Vacation from Ryan Racing is on his game, this is in easy play for the victory. Has looked very puppy pedestrian lately and is in danger of being relegated to B Grade with another clunker here. That’s not happening.

*Java Beretta*
Race 15 Grade A 545 Yards
The Champions Racing Team is sending out their alpha hound in the finale in #6 Java Beretta. The 28 time winner has a solid rush/close combo that puts him in contention each and every time he starts and has a great chance of taking this one today.
One of my favorite racers in all of South FLA #4 Cbj Jackie O from owner Carmen Jorgensen will also be in the mix. This is absolutely one of the most dynamic closers in the country and is starting to get some Daytona 550 buzz with her efforts. If she was in the outside 7 or 8 hole with her potent mid track game, I’d be pounding it for the win. The 4 hole I have my doubts though.
Put Puppy Stakes Finalists #2 Bf Par Snipe in your exotic plays, as she has hit the board in 14 of 18 starts (78%) this season.
Java Beretta on top to end the Friday Matinee with Jackie O closing in for the Place spot.
