Another exciting month of racing has been completed at The Palm Beach Kennel Club! As we get ready for Stakes Season that starts the first weekend in December, the competition for supremacy here will become even more intriguing.

Here are the Top 10 greyhounds that are currently racing at “The Beach.”

#1 Ethel Is Here ~ Middle Distance Racer ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~First #1 Ranking ever for Ethel!

~11 wins, 37.28 secs best time this season.

Simply the best 660 yard racer here. Set the track record on 11/4 with a blistering time that was astonishing considering this track has been racing since the 1930's. Will be the heavy favorite to win the 3/8ths Mile Derby in February.



#2 Storm Control ~ Sprinter ~ B & B Racing

~4 wins this month, 29.39 secs best time this season.

The spring Puppy Stakes Champ has just been sensational since returning last month. Leads the track in win percentage (80%). Strong possibility you will see Storm in the BetAmerica National Championship in January.

#3 Nikita’s First ~ Super Sprinter ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~Season wins leader with 14, 16.54 secs best time.

The best super sprinter currently at Palm Beach. Is undefeated all time out of the inside 1 box (6-0) on the super sprint course. What a dynamic duo trainer Crystal Carroll has with Ethel and Nikita on her team.

#4 CRT Leyla ~ Sprinter ~ Champions Racing Team

~2 wins this month, 29.28 secs best time this season.

The #1 racer last month cooled off a bit this time around, but is still one of the most dangerous racers here. Will be one of the favorites to win the $50,000 He’s My Man Classic coming up in January.

#5 JS SpeedyPebbles ~ Sprinter ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins Team

~2 wins this month, 29.45 secs best time this season.

“The Queen of Palm Beach” is back racing after an extended vacation. The 2013 Dick Andrews Futurity Champion is by far the most popular athlete here by a wide margin. Supreme lid flipper for owner Shannon Henry.

#6 PJ Smoke Em Out ~ Sprinter ~ Agganis Kennel

~3 wins this month, 29.70 secs season best time.

Not very many greyhounds can out break “Smokey” to the turn. Is tied for 2^nd in wins this season with 11 of them.

#7 Ninis Chipotle ~ Sprinter ~ Rader Racing

~2 wins this month, 29.58 secs best time.

“Chip” has just been terrific for owner Laura Brady all season long. An 89% board hitter is one of the best percentages of any greyhound racing here. Possible chance to win the season track championship in July.

#8 KB’s Like A Fox ~ Super Sprinter ~ Rader Racing

~7 wins this season, 16.48 secs best time

Last years Track Champion has missed a good chunk of race time this season, but looks to be getting back to top form after winning his last two starts. Possible prolific rivalry could be brewing between “The Fox” and Nikita’s First for future super sprint supremacy.

#9 Hustle It Up ~ Sprinter ~ Janie Carroll Kennel

~4 wins this month, 29.53 secs best time on the season.

She’s heating up just in time for Stakes season. Has won 7 of her last 10 races and is starting to become a constant fixture on the boards as well.

#10 AMF Pushover ~ Sprinter ~ B & B Racing

~10 wins this season, 29.39 secs best time.

This is my new favorite closer at Palm Beach. Check the replays on my Facebook if you want to see some unbelievably dramatic wins by this greyhound. Keep your eye out for this racer.
