Weekday picks and plays for Thoroughbred racing.
Tuesday, Dec. 22
Parx, Race 9: Allowance (1 mile and 70 yards, 4:01 p.m. ET)
Which horse boasts the fastest Brisnet Speed rating in Tuesday’s field?
It’s actually the longshot #2 Infuriated (15-1 on the morning line), who posted a 104 when he dominated a 1 1/16-mile allowance at Parx during the summer. The 5-year-old gelding led all the way over a muddy track to romp by 4 3/4 lengths.
Our 9th race winner on our Wed card was Infuriated for trainer Donald White, owner Chris McCarthy & jockey Jason Nguyen. We talked with winning jockey Jason who said Infuriated doesn't know how good he is yet. Congrats to the connections. @parxracing @letsgoracingpa pic.twitter.com/CUh1EoH3uX

Infuriated has been defeated in three subsequent runs, but one was a tough stakes event, and the other two were 7-furlong sprints.
I’m optimistic Infuriated will show improvement on the stretch back out in distance, so, assuming his 15-1 odds hold up, I’ll be keen to favor Infuriated with a win bet. He can upset the field if he brings his "A" game.
$25 to win on #2 Infuriated
Good luck!
