12-Midnight Angelus This horse is making only her second career start. In her 31k maiden race, she rushed to the lead and drew off, winning in hand by 10 lengths. A very impressive debut. Adds jockey Mark Berry.
5-Silk Purse This previously trained filly by Steve Asmussen, is now being trained by Brad Cox, who has been hitting very frequently at Oaklawn. She makes her first start for him today. She broke her maiden 2 starts back and then jumped straight into the Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes. She set the early fractions to the half mile but gave way.
