Governor's Cup for 3&Up going 5 furlongs (T)
TIGHTEND TOUCHDOWN came into the Governor's Cup in 2013 off of two straight wins and won going away over a stellar field that included Bridgetown and Ben's Cat. This year, TIGHTEND TOUCHDOWN comes in having not won in his five starts including an eighth place finish in February at Gulfstream Park. He is fast, but there is other speed in the race and it will be a mad dash to the turn. BOLD THUNDER has won four of eight turf sprint races and should get a good trip stalking the pace. He drew post seven, outside of TIGHTEND TOUCHDOWN and other inside speed. STORMY RUSH may sit the trip from the rail and can win with a ground-saving trip. The six-year-old gelding was good enough to run in graded stake races back in 2012 and has come back this year to win two of four races highlighted by a win in a $75,000 stakes last month at Gulfstream Park. STORMOFTHECENTURY should not be 10-1 on the morning line, and if he is, bet accordingly, especially in any trifecta or superfecta wager. STORMOFTHECENTURY is dropping out of three straight graded stake races and has the back class to win. He would appreciate a little give in the ground, but there is a 0% chance of rain in the Harrisburg area on Saturday.
