1-Global View: game when he sees daylight 2-Sing the Dream: steps up off the layoff 3-Laddie Boy: near-miss on the dirt last out with a rough trip 4-Bobby's Kitten: line-through worst peformance of his career 5-Storming Inti: speed cuts back off the near-miss 6-Mr Brioni: speed steps up 7-Coastline: has to prove more than precocious in turf debut 8-Divine Oath: yet to run a bad race

In only their second year, the Penn Oaks and Mile are proving to be really good handicapping puzzles.

In the Mile, Chad Brown saddles a really formidable pair with morning line favorite Bobby's Kitten and fellow short price Storming Inti: the former gets back to his best distance and surface off a forgettable effort in the G1 Blue Grass; the latter just keeps running fantastic, but has to show that he can get his nose down on the wire.

Tom Proctor could have a very good night with Famous Alice in the Oaks and Global View in the Mile. The son of Galileo rolled wide off the turn to capture the G2 American Turf last out, getting up in time over fellow running Storming Inti.

Of the longer shots, Divine Oath is intriguing: from a beautiful Phipps pedigree, the lightly raced Pletcher-trainee should be perfectly suited to a turf mile. And the omnipresent Coastline shows up trying the turf for the first time: when he wants to run his race, he's a solid exotics play.

Picks: 5 - 1 - 8 - 4
