Race 9 - Post Time 5:48 pm ET
PURE TACTICS will be a long shot in the Diliberto Memorial Handicap on Saturday at Fair Grounds, but he is worth a look. The son of Pure Prize has two wins and a second in four starts over the turf course and is coming out of a good second place finish two months ago at Keeneland. In his last five starts off a layoff, Pure Tactics has three wins and one second. KING DAVID is the "resume" play of the field. The four-year-old won the Grade 1 Jamaica in October 2012 and has subsequently finished third in a pair of Grade 3 races. Look for him late in a race that should unfold at a pretty swift pace. COMPLIANCE OFFICER may sit the best trip, just off the front-runners. A NY-bred, Compliance Officer has won 12 of his 33 career starts and has been in-the-money a total of 22 times. In July 2012 he finished second in the Grade 3 Poker over the turf at Belmont Park. DADDY NOSE BEST could complete the superfecta.
