Santa Anita 8 | 7:44 pm ET G3 Adoration for 3&Up F&M going 1-1/16 mi

LET FAITH ARISE is a Grade 1 winner and the filly to beat in the Grade 3 Adoration on Sunday at Santa Anita. She is coming off a fourth place finish in the Grade 1 Apple Blossom at Oaklawn Park behind Close Hatches and On Fire Baby. On Fire Baby came back to win a stakes on Kentucky Oaks day while Close Hatches may be the second best filly or mare in the country behind Beholder. LET FAITH ARISE should get a good trip either setting the pace or sitting just off the speed. WARREN'S VENEDA runs at any distance, over any surface and could be the one to take some early initiative coming off a sprint race in late April. The only other time she ran a route of ground over the Santa Anita track, she won by seven and one-quarter lengths. Victor Espinoza had one hell of a Saturday aboard California Chrome in the Preakness at Pimlico and will try to keep the winning going with SPELLBOUND, winner of the Grade 2 La Canada. In the La Canada the pace was fast early and SPELLBOUND picked up the pieces late. The pace on Sunday does not appear to be as fast so the daughter of Bernardini may be up against it. She is; however, a must use on any trifecta or superfecta wager. EBLOUISSANTE has run four races and been bet down to favoritism three times. That will not be the case in the Adoration and she could offer some value. The half-sister to the great Zenyatta still needs to prove she belongs at this class level.
