Southland Preview - January 14

Welcome to another Thursday twilight program of highly entertaining and exciting greyhound racing at Southland as there are 18 races on tap on the card for your viewing and wagering pleasure. For the picks Thursday, MoneyMaker Mike will stay with some top grade runners who have been giving great efforts as of late and also a longshot play that I hope could pay well. Good luck to all and thanks for reading.

Race10 - 583 yards - Grade AA - CBJ BUTTERFINGER - 7 box - She's been running exceptionally strong lately with two wins and two seconds in her last four races and as consistent as she's been, I think she keeps the hot streak going here. I will play the 7 with the 2/3/4/8 in quinielas and tri's.

Race13 - 660 yards - Grade AA - PJ REFINED - 2 box - I am looking for her to be the pacesetter here with her early speed getting her to the front and while she tends to favor a mid to wide running style, I think she will still be able to find room to run right out of the box. I will play the 2 with the 1/3/7/8.

Race17 - 583 yards - Grade AA - KEEPER RATCHET - 6 box - She's showing 5 wins in her last six races on the program and with solid efforts like that she's got to be considered a threat to win once again so I will have her as the key even though the odds will be low on her. I'll play the 6 with the 3/4/5/7.
