SOUTHLAND Preview - Saturday evening 11/22/14

November 22nd, 2014

The racing action gets heated up at Southland Greyhound Park on Saturday evening with 18 exciting and entertaining races on tap. MoneyMaker Mike has studied the program and three good MoneyMaker plays are listed below as part of the November theme of solid picks that are on the morning line. We also have one of the 5 up and coming greyhounds for this month running in the 2nd race this evening so let's get the show on the road. Thanks for reading and good luck with your wagering opportunities.

Race 2 - This race features the (4) TC'S MIKE TROUT, one of the  5 up and coming greyhounds we posted about several weeks who has rewarded his followers with a solid 2 wins and 2 seconds in his last six races. Overall he has accumulated 7 top three finishes in 10 races and with his nice strong rush and good late move, he's a threat each time out. He likes the inside and if gets the lead, he's tough to catch.

Race 14- The first MoneyMaker play of the evening is in the 14th race, a Grade D race over the 660 yard course and the pick is the (1) Munney. The odds should be good on her, she is presently 20-1 on the morning line and besides liking the inside, she does have a Grade C win just 2 months ago from the 2 box. At these odds, I'm willing to take a shot on her.

Race 16 - In another MoneyMaker Mike pick of the card, I'm going with the (1) RCK GO FOR JEN to run a good race and be part of a nice paying ticket. I like her from the one box because she loves the rail and she has only drawn the one box 3 times in the last 7 months and she ran 3rd in each one of them. They were in a higher grade then tonight's race so I'm willing to give her a shot here to run a huge race.

Race 18 - The final MoneyMaker pick is in the last race, the 18th, a Grade TAA contest over the 820 yard course and the play is the (2) KR ALL AMPED UP. This recent stakes winner has 23 top two finishes in 46 races and out of the 2 box is 5 for 5 in the money with three wins, a second and a third place effort in her career to this point. For some reason, she's not on the morning line but with her inside running style along with a decent early rush and strong closing move it makes her a threat each time out. She may not have the odds on her as most of our MoneyMaker plays do but certainly worth a nice play here.

Thursday evening's results from the MoneyMaker picks included a nice 3rd place effort from WW'S JUNK PILE and a 6th place effort from PJ SOUR DIESEL. Our other pick was in the 10th race and it was DARK N DEMURE. I'm not sure if the race was declared a no race but I haven't been able to find any results from it.

Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone.
