SOUTHLAND Preview - Sunday afternoon, November 30
Today's Southland racing card features 18 races for your viewing and wagering pleasure. MoneyMaker Mike has selected three picks for today's program that have potential to put some nice size payoffs in your pocket. I have also listed the results from Friday's picks. Good luck to everyone and thanks for reading.
The first MoneyMaker pick of the day is in the 2nd race, a Grade B contest over the 583 yard course and the choice is the (1) PJ DIPLOMATIC. With his inside running style and drawing the rail post position, got to go with him in this one. Last three times he has had the one box, he has a win and two second place finishes. He's up in grade and the competition is tough but I like him in this spot here.
Another MoneyMaker play is in the 4th race, a Grade M contest over the 583 yard course and my pick is the (8) SE'S WET EMBER. I am going with her for the upset of the day. She likes it mid-track and the eight box could be the edge she needs here. She's only had 2 schooling races to this point and shows finishes of 3rd and 5th. She did try to go early in her last schooling race and I'm hoping she breaks early and clear of trouble. If she does this could be a very nice $$$$$$ hit.
The final MoneyMaker pick is in the 10th race, a Grade D contest over the 660 yard course and I'm going with the (3) SLATEX SONOMA here. She is a double drop in grade who likes the inside and it wouldn't surprise me to see her among the frontrunners early and she does have decent late speed in which to make her move if she's close down the stretch.
Results from Friday evening's picks.
Race 1 - TC'S MIKE TROUT - won
Race 2 - FLYING YAHOO - place
Race 5 - OSHKOSH GOOBER - won
Race 10 - FLY AQIB TALIB - finished 8th
Race 14 - MUNNEY - finished 4th
Race 17 - HL'S TRAVIS - finished 7th
Thanks for reading and good luck to all.
