SOUTHLAND preview - Sunday, July 31
For Sunday's twilight greyhound racing action at Southland, I've selected 3 greyhounds that I think have the good possibility of getting a win and I've listed them below. To this point, of the 24 picks I've given so far in July, 9 of the choices have been winners. Friday's selections turned out decent as we did have the winner in the 17th race who was SHOW ON THE ROAD and the other two picks ran 2nd and 3rd in their races. This is the last of the picks for July and for Sunday's selections, I have listed my MoneyMaker Mike's picks below so be sure to check them out. There will be 18 races on the program so make a day of it and let's see if we can't put some cash in your pockets with a couple of winning greyhounds. Remember that BetAmerica is your one stop wagering and racing information site that will gladly assist you in any way should you have any questions so please feel free to contact them. Best of luck to each of you in your wagering opportunities and thanks for reading.
Race 2 - BARTS GHOSTSTORY (8 box) - He's recently transferred from the Wheeling track and in his first schooling race at Southland he overcomes trouble and gets the win with a strong effort all around. I look for him to repeat the performance in his first official start on the West Memphis track and pull away late for the win. There is a lot of early speed in this maiden contest but with his closing speed, I think he can run them down in the stretch and get the victory for his first win of his career.
Race 10 - FIESTA PARAGUAS (7 box) - He got back on the winning track last time out with a nice 4 length win going box to wire with the lead. With 30 wins in 76 races over the last two Southland seasons, he's certainly proven to be one of the best at this track and the post position in this one suits his mid-track running style just fine.
Race 11 - MEGA NERFETTA (6 box) - She's coming off three tough races in Grade A where she encountered trouble in each one of them and now finds herself back in Grade B where she will look to get back in form with a solid effort. The drop in class will help and I think she will avoid the early trouble that she has run into lately and find a clear lane for her mid-track style.
