Southland - Round 1 of the RAZORBACK CLASSIC STAKES is in the books

Round 1 of the very competitive 2016 RAZORBACK CLASSIC STAKES is now in the books after Sunday's start of the competition. Round 2 will be run on Friday, May 20 and should prove just as exciting and entertaining as the first round was. The 96 talented and hard running greyhounds who entered this stakes contest will again tackle the 660 yard course in their bid to win the prestigious distance title. The betting public's favorites fared well in the first round and that trend looks like it could easily continue in the next round as well. As usual in these stakes competitions I posted my picks to make the finals as well as my choice to win it all before the start of the contest.  I have listed how my picks did below and look forward to seeing how they do the rest of the way. With all the talent that runs at Southland, this could easily turn out to be one of the most competitive stakes contests that's been seen in recent memory.
