Three to follow on Winsurance Wednesday at Delta Downs

Opting in to both promotions allows players to get a 15% bonus on their gross Double earnings up to $500 per card, and to earn 2 TSC Elite Points per dollar wagered when they bet $10 or more on any race at Delta on Wednesdays. Qualifying players can also earn a bonus of 28 TSC Elite Points per dollar wagered if the fail to cash a ticket in the corresponding race on which they've wagered $10 or more.
Here are three horses of interest on Wednesday night's card I'll be using in the straight and Double pools:
Race 3: MY BOOK (#7, 10-1) debuted against state-bred $20,000 maiden claimers and finished a credible third two back, but was less effective last time against open maiden special weight company. He's back at his proper class level this time, has Jairo Rodriguez back in the irons, and gets additional ground to work with stretching out to 6 1/2 furlongs for the first time.
Race 4: INCLUDE INDYCAT (#7, 9-2) is a bit of a roll of the dice having not run since April 29 and with only one published work on his current tab, but I'm intrigued by the fact he's won three of his past four appearances on dirt and finished third in the other. His last main track win came against first-level allowance company at Evangeline, which makes today's plunge to $4,000N1Y a bit suspicious. However, jockey Emanuel Nieves, who was aboard for the aforementioned allowance, has had a successful relationship with trainer Jose Camejo of late, winning with two of five starters in the last 60 days.
Race 5: The horse I prefer most of the trio is FIRST PRIZE YANKEE (#5, 6-1), who was likely in need of a start when a fading fifth against similar on February 1 following a layoff of 6 1/2 months. Good enough to have won a state-bred maiden special weight over this track and trip, he's less exposed than most of these and figures to be in stronger shape with the get-fit trip two weeks ago.
