Victory Ride Stakes Wagers

#1 SIPPIN PRETTY (20-1): First of two from the barn of Ian Wilkes didn’t fire her best shot in the Eight Belles (G2) last time but was pretty sharp prior to that effort and could be a top-three player in this heat at a big number. The Yaupon sophomore is well drawn on the rail and will save ground throughout with Santana in the irons.

#2 IRON ORCHARD (5-1): Grade 1 heroine will make her first run of the season in this one. Purchased for $2.5 million in the fall, the New York-bred daughter of Authentic will make her first run since moving to the Asmussen barn and drilled a bullet four panels on the course in advance of her return. Joel Rosario will be in the irons.

#3 CARMEL COAST (8-1): Talented filly from the Beckman barn owns a win and a second from a pair of lifetime runs on the oval and will make her third run off the shelf in this affair. The Omaha Beach filly has good early speed and will be sent from the break with Gaffalione retaining the mount.

#4 SNEAKY GOOD (8-1): Into Mischief filly has never run a bad race in her lifetime and wouldn’t be a surprise for Brad Cox. The Kentucky-bred bay will go route-to-sprint in the event and will likely make one run from off the pace with Jose Ortiz in the irons.

#5 TOMMY JO (7-2): Two-time Grade 1 queen was fifth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) in her latest showing and has trained well for her 2026 debut. The bay daughter of Into Mischief posted a pair of super impressive tallies on the course as a juvenile and will be tough to knock off with a top run off the shelf for Pletcher. The Spendthrift homebred will have regular pilot John Velazquez on board.

#6 PEACH TIE (12-1): Recent Miss Preakness (G3) heroine is six-for-eight with two placings in her career and gets a big test in a field of this depth. The Kentucky-bred chestnut can win from on or off the tempo and will be a contender with a step forward under the guidance of Manny Franco.

#7 MYTHICAL (9-2): Six-time stakes vixen bagged the Adirondack (G3) on the course at two and will bring pace to the field. The Jorge Delgado pupil was a solid third in the Jersey Girl S. here last time and will be in the running late with improvement today beneath Edgard Zayas.

#8 TESSELLATE (20-1): McKinzie filly from the barn of Saffie Joseph is a three-time stakes winner coming off a nice runner-up showing in the Miss Preakness. The $170,000 yearling buy will stalk the early pace with intent, with Dylan Davis on board.

#9 A FINE CHARDONNAY (12-1): Second from the Ian Wilkes shedrow can be very good on her best day, evidenced by her Beaumont (G2) score at Keeneland two back. The daughter of Maclean’s Music has a fine turn of foot and could get a good pace set up in the affair with Brian Hernandez, Jr. in the stirrups. She has appeal at a fine price.

#10 GOODALL (3-1): Top choice was very professional in her Jersey Girl S. triumph here last time and will be tough with a repeat of that showing from a clear outside draw. The Asmussen pupil has won three of her last four leading up to this dash and has posted a trio of morning moves on the Oklahoma in advance of the heat, as well. I feel that she will press the pace and take over in the lane with Flavien Prat in the silks.
