Rosecroft Raceway may not have officially offered ladies day on Tuesday, but female trainers were definitely the rule on the program.

Women trainers won five of the 12 races on the card, including the Open Trot and another female trainer garnered the first victory of her career.

Things started well for the ladies as Gold Deuce (Roger Plante, Jr) won the opener for owner-trainer Colby Hubble. The six-year-old I Scoot Hanover covered the mile distance in 1:54.4 for his second win from 30 starts on the year.

One race later on the card BP Burner (Sean Bier) captured a conditioned event in 1:55 to complete an early daily double for the ladies. BP Burner is a three-year-old Brian P gelding trained by Betsy Brown for owner-breeder Belle Bauman.

Two races later on the card Curb Your Z Tam (Jason Thompson) captured a bottom level conditioned event in 1:57. An eight-year-old Cole Muffler gelding owned and trained by Jeanmarie Kurowski, Curb Your Z Tam notched his second win from 16 seasonal outings.

Then just past the midway point of the card, Caviart Tyler (Mike Rossi) led throughout to capture a non-winners of $5,000 last five starts class in 1:52.2. An eight-year-old Dragon Again gelding trained by Megan Roberts, Caviart Tyler posted the 39th victory in 198 lifetime outings and have Roberts the first training victory of her young career.

Then three races later in the $10,000 Open 2 Handicap for trotters, All Shoes On Deck capped ladies night in style. A seven-year-old Crown Prince Gar gelding owned and trained by Linda MacDonald, All Shoes On Deck notched his sixth win in 29 starts this year and his second win in seven tries at the current meet.
