The $1 Super High 5s at Gulfstream Park and Turfway Park have tossed up carryovers for Saturday.
Let’s take a look at both of these betting opportunities:
Gulfstream Park: Race 12: $12,478 Super High 5 carryover (5:50 p.m. ET)
If you want to win a share of Gulfstream’s $12,478 Super High 5 carryover, you’ll have to solve Race 12, a maiden special weight for three-year-old fillies racing 7 1/2 furlongs on turf.
#8 Celebrity Warrior (3-1) looks tough to beat. She misfired in a recent maiden special weight on Tapeta, finishing sixth, but her grass form last year was promising. After finishing second on debut in a 1 1/16-mile maiden special weight at Saratoga, Celebrity Warrior ran second in the Selima S. and eighth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1).
Celebrity Warrior has the tactical speed to stay out of trouble against Saturday’s large field, setting the stage for a clean trip. Dropping in class and returning to turf stamps Celebrity Warrior as a filly worth keying on top in the Super High 5.
Turfway Park: Race 10: $7,201 Super High 5 carryover (10:25 p.m. ET)
Turfway Park’s $7,201 Super High 5 carryover is up for grabs in Race 10, a $7,500 maiden claimer for three-year-olds and older horses racing one mile on Tapeta.

Two horses loom as a formidable win contenders. One is #4 Pack a Lunch (7-2), who is dropping in class after finishing seventh by 6 3/4 lengths in a one-mile $30,000 maiden claimer at Turfway. Trainer Doug Cowans wins at a spectacular 53% rate with horses dropping multiple levels down the class ladder, so Pack a Lunch figures to be in the hunt down the homestretch.
The other appealing entrant is #10 Scoville (4-1). He set the pace in a one-mile $15,000 maiden claimer at Turfway last month before tiring in the final furlong to finish second by 1 3/4 lengths. The 74 Brisnet Speed rating he earned is the highest number posted by any horse entered in Race 10 within the last year.
We suggest boxing Pack a Lunch and Scoville in the first two slots of your Super High 5 tickets, counting on them to run 1-2 in either order.
Good luck!
