Gulfstream Park: Singles for the $557,110 Pick 6 mandatory payout

February 15th, 2026

The Sunday card at Gulfstream Park is highlighted by the mandatory payout of a massive $557,110 carryover in the Rainbow Pick 6.

Gulfstream estimates that the final pool for the 20-cent wager could reach $5 million, making it an awesome opportunity for bettors.

The Pick 6 gets underway in Race 6 at 2:57 p.m. ET. We’ve analyzed the entries and identified a pair of logical singles to build tickets around:

Best Pick 6 singles

Race 6: #1 Wistucky (9-5)

The opening leg of the Pick 6 is a seven-furlong $25,000 claimer for older horses who have never won two races. The conditions should suit Wistucky. Last time out, he dueled for the lead in a six-furlong $35,000 claimer for non-winners of two races before weakening in the final furlong to finish fourth, beaten only two lengths.

Wistucky was claimed out of that race by trainer Jose D’Angelo, a 22% winner with new claiming acquisitions and a lofty 32% winner with horses dropping in class following a claim. Facing easier competition in his first start for D’Angelo might be all Wistucky needs to secure his second career win. Take note, his lone victory came in a seven-furlong maiden special weight at Gulfstream, so we know he can handle this track and distance.

Race 10: #9 Nic’s Style (8-5)

Nic’s Style is a picture of consistency. She boasts seven wins and three seconds from 11 starts, highlighted by a triumph in the 6 1/2-furlong Hurricane Bertie (G3) at Gulfstream.

Nic’s Style has lost three starts in a row since returning from a layoff in November, but her last two runs at Gulfstream have been solid. She ran second in the six-furlong Sugar Swirl S. and second in a six-furlong $62,500 allowance optional claimer.

Now Nic’s Style is tackling another $62,500 allowance optional claimer, this time over 6 1/2 furlongs. She’s the co-fastest entrant from a Brisnet Speed rating perspective, and her recent races could give her a fitness advantage over key rival #8 Eclatant (5-2), who hasn’t raced since June.

Nic’s Style appears well spotted to snag first prize for hot trainer Bill Mott, a 23% winner at Gulfstream this meet.

Good luck!
