Finger Lakes: Race 7: Allowance (six furlongs on dirt, 3:49 p.m. ET)

#7 Angel Gift (2-1) has spent her first six starts competing on the New York Racing Association circuit, including in three stakes.

After finishing fifth and seventh in a pair of allowance sprints for New York-breds at Saratoga this year, Angel Gift ought to appreciate squaring off against easier competition at Finger Lakes. She’s picking up hot jockey Andre Worrie (a 24% winner at Finger Lakes this meet) and is a logical choice to deliver victory over capable Finger Lakes allowance competitor #6 Belloro (3-1).

#3 Moonshining Mama (5-1) is an unraced daughter of Shagaf, who sires 35% winners from first-time starters. A bullet half-mile workout in :47 on June 20 at Horseshoe Indianapolis suggests Moonshining Mama has the talent to factor on debut for jockey Amir Mendoza and trainer Genaro Garcia, who have won at a 25% rate teaming up together over the last two months.

A win bet is in order.

Horseshoe Indianapolis: Race 6: $20,000 Maiden Claiming (one mile on turf, 4:45 p.m. ET)

#9 Night Watcher (15-1) showed some ability when making his turf debut in a five-furlong maiden special weight at Horseshoe Indianapolis last month. He pressed an opening quarter-mile in :20.93 and stayed in second place through half a mile in :43.39 before retreating to finish fifth, beaten six lengths.

There isn’t much pace in Race 6, so Night Watcher has a strong chance to secure an uncontested lead while stretching out over one mile. Dropping in class can help him carry his speed all the way to an upset victory.

Let’s bet Night Watcher to win and key him over logical favorite #2 He’s a Charmer (3-1) in an exacta.

Gulfstream Park: Race 4: $25,003 Pick 6 mandatory payout (1:48 p.m. ET)

For the third week in a row, the Monday card at Gulfstream Park features a mandatory payout of the 20-cent Rainbow Pick 6. This week’s carryover for the 20-cent wager stands at $25,003, and Gulfstream estimates the final pool will reach the $400,000 range.

As far as complexity goes, Monday’s Rainbow Pick 6 looks to be of medium difficulty. The six races have attracted 48 horses (averaging eight per race) before scratches, and there are 235,200 possible Pick 6 outcomes to analyze.

The smallest field can be found in Race 4, a maiden special weight for three-year-olds and older horses racing one mile on dirt. Only six horses have entered, and morning-line favorite #5 Wordondastreet (8-5) looks like a logical single to build tickets around.

Best single: Race 4: #5 Wordondastreet (8-5)

Some bettors may hesitate to single Wordondastreet since he’s gone 0-for-9 competing against maiden special weight competition at Gulfstream Park. But Race 4 hasn’t come up very deep, so Wordondastreet may have found the perfect spot to break his maiden.

Whereas Wordondastreet has recorded a quartet of top-four finishes in maiden special weights (including a fourth in a one-mile contest on May 8), here are the best efforts put forth by his five rivals:

• #1 Noble Pride (9-5) finished third in a $35,000 maiden claimer.
• #2 Motor City Man (8-1) came home seventh in a maiden special weight for Florida-breds.
• #3 Always Praising (15-1) ran fourth in a $16,000 maiden claimer for fillies on turf.
• #4 Valen Time (4-1) finished third in a maiden special weight for Florida-breds.
• #6 Marilyn’s Mate (5-1) ran fifth in a maiden special weight.

The highest Brisnet Speed rating earned by any of Wordondastreet’s rivals is 76. In contrast, Wordondastreet has posted ratings in the 77-82 range on four occasions.

Wordondastreet has enough tactical speed to work out a favorable trip in Race 4, and he has upside to move forward in his second dirt race of 2026. All of his top-four finishes have come on dirt, and he’s failed to finish better than sixth in a trio of starts on turf and synthetic.

As a result, Wordondastreet looks like a solid single to start the Rainbow Pick 6.
