#2 Last Move (8-1) has demonstrated decent form sprinting on Tapeta and running long on turf. She exits a fifth-place finish (beaten only three lengths) in a restricted maiden special weight racing one mile on grass at Colonial Downs.

Tackling a Tapeta route for the first time may unlock a winning performance from Last Move. Let’s try a win bet on the bay filly, along with a small exacta using #6 Blessednotbothered (9-2) for second place.

At 4-1, Flounder is worthy of a win bet. #2 Quinntopia (5-2) can round out the exacta.

Carryover Watch

Assiniboia Downs: Race 7: $2,600 Super High 5 carryover (11:05 p.m. ET)

On Tuesday night at Assiniboia Downs, a $2,600 USD ($3,613 CAD) carryover is available to chase in the $1 “Classic Hi 5” Super High 5.

The prize pool is up for grabs in Race 7, a $3,000 claimer for fillies and mares dashing six furlongs on dirt. We’ll build our Super High 5 tickets around #1 Big Tippa (2-1) and #6 Dynamic Strike (3-1), the two favorites.

Big Tippa hasn’t finished out of the top four in her last nine starts, all at Assiniboia Downs and all against tougher competition. She’s been sharp in her last couple of starts, finishing first and second in a pair of $4,000 claimers while earning Brisnet Speed ratings of 72 and 73 that stack up well against Tuesday’s field.

As for Dynamic Strike, she faltered in her latest start, finishing sixth in a $5,500 claimer. But two starts back, she won a $5,500 claimer by 2 1/4 lengths over a next-out winner, earning a flashy 75 Brisnet Speed rating five points higher than the par winning number for Tuesday’s conditions.

We anticipate both Big Tippa and Dynamic Strike will be formidable while dropping in class, so for Super High 5 purposes, we’ll count on one to win and the other to finish in the top three.

Underneath, we’ll emphasize #4 Miss Z (4-1) and #8 Valerie Valeski (6-1), relying on them both to finish in the top five.

Miss Z rarely finishes out of the top four. Two starts back, she finished second by one length against Big Tippa in a $4,000 claimer, earning a 70 Brisnet Speed rating. She’s posted ratings in the 70-72 range in her last three starts and should have every chance to vie for a top-five finish.

Valerie Valeski finished ahead of Miss Z on a couple of occasions earlier this year, including when winning a $3,000 claimer. Her best recent Brisnet Speed ratings (72 and 71) suggest she’s a solid fit for this field.
