Australia Racing Preview for 2/20/2014

Friday night racing is on at Moonee Valley! Time to get ourselves into the mood for huge day at Caulfield tomorrow with the running of the Sportingbet Blue Diamond Stakes.

So let’s take a look at a few of the better races and get started betting and making money!

MOONEE VALLEY – AUS A

RACE 5 - ESSENDON MAZDA 55 SECOND CHALLENGE HEAT 14 955m of $55000 (AUS)

Good race this edition…YET AGAIN! Should be no shortage of pace as nearly all naturally will be going forward. If the SNITZEM we know and love turns up, from an inside draw he'll very be tough to beat. Wipe his last preparation as he had documented problems. This is his first start for Chris Waller and we all know he is a genius. MAGNUS REIGN has a good record in these races when he draws out, so I expect him to be right in it at the business end. LET'S ROCK'n'ROLL looks drawn for the right run tonight and the form he carries down from NSW is good enough to match these guys.. VENTIC is a tough on pacer who might be suited by the 955m, will just need a mid-race breather to maybe bust them open. PLANET VOYAGE, GO THE KNUCKLE and CORSTONS BEAU best of the rest but without a lie, the rest are all capable on their day.

RACE 6 – GRADE 3 SIMPSON CONSTRUCTION TYPHOON TRACY STAKES 1200m of $120000 (AUS)

MISS ROSE DE LAGO may cross and lead them. The race is made a little more little tricky given most runners are coming off a break. MISS PROMISCUITY has been most impressive since blinkers were applied, her win here last time was ultra impressive and she gave the older boys a spanking last start. MISS ROSE DE LAGO has really great Perth form. She was beaten by a very good horse last time who went on to win a Grade 1 against quality like Luckygray. MISS STEELE is drawn for a good run 1st up and last time 1^st up she was unlucky here at listed level. . MONTSEGUR has trialled just ok for her return, but is a class act when on song. THE HUNTRESS will strip a lot fitter after her first up run on that boiling hot day.

RACE 7 – LISTED ADAPT AUSTRALIA TORNEY NIGHT CUP 2500m of $150000 (AUS)

Another good race. BIG MEMORY might be the one with the most improvement here. He was having just his fourth run in this prep when narrowly beaten by Travolta in Sydney. He looks set for a good run on speed. TRAVOLTA confirmed that form to be strong with a solid effort in the Mornington Cup. USE THE LOT is a beauty and now he gets to his preferred distance range. AGGREGATOR is genuine and can take another step up to this grade. No shock to see improvement from SHENZHOU STEEDS. STREETS OF SEATTLE is back down to a preferred weight and would not surprise if she gets the right run.
