Lone Star

Race 5

#1 Elle's Town (2-1) gave way to finish fifth after dueling for the early lead at this distance on the main track at Houston in her latest in February, but finished a good second in the Pago Hop on grass at Fair Grounds two back. Daughter of Speightstown makes her second outing for trainer Broberg, who wins with 18% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and who has won with 26% of starters at this meet. Dark bay can be forwardly placed early and should outclass this field under Cabrera, who has won with 29% of his rides for the barn in the last 60 days.

Race 6

Trainer Asmussen wins with 21% of his second-time starters and saddles #4 Fortune Ticket (6-1), who showed little when unplaced in his debut as the favorite over 6 furlongs at Fair Grounds in mid-March. Son of Candy Ride is a full brother to Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner Gun Runner and Asmussen has won with 25% of his starters at this meet. 3-year-old can show more here with Elliot in the saddle.

Race 9

Another from the Asmussen barn is #1 Tumbling Sky (3-1), who tries grass for the first time off a fading unplaced effort after showing early run at Oaklawn in early April. Chestnut should take to the surface being out of a mare by Distorted Humor and Asmussen wins with 16% of his runners first time on turf. Colt can be involved from the start breaking from the rail under Elliott, who has won with 24% of his rides for the barn in the last two months.

Fairmount

Race 1

Blinkers are added to #6 Pretty Gita (9-2), who has not been seen since showing little when unplaced in a maiden special weight event here in her debut in March. Daughter of Well Positioned is a half-sister to five winners and has worked well since her first outing for trainer Becker, who wins with 31% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days. Filly can be tough at this level with Emigh remaining aboard.

Mountaineer

Race 2

#8 Get Some Mo (4-1), has won one of six previous starts on turf and comes off a fading, unplaced effort after leading early on the all-weather surface at Turfway in late February. Trainer Ennis failed to win with his last 16 runners that had not raced for 90+ days, but son of Uncle Mo has been working well and can be in good early position with Mayta riding.
