If you want to win a share of Sunday’s $12,915 Super High 5 carryover at Gulfstream Park, you’ll have to decipher Race 10, a maiden special weight for three-year-old fillies racing one mile on turf.
Gulfstream Park: Race 10: $12,915 Super High 5 carryover (5:38 p.m. ET)
With 10 horses in the entries before scratches, there are 30,240 possible Super High 5 outcomes to analyze. We’ll cover 80 of them on an $80 ticket:

Our top choice is #4 Rockon Rockall (9-2). The son of Rock Your World has only raced once. In a 1 1/8-mile maiden special weight at Gulfstream Park last month, he set quick fractions of :22.80, :45.90, and 1:09.89 before tiring in the final furlong to finish sixth, beaten only 3 1/4 lengths.
Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. wins at a lofty 28% rate with second-time starters, so Rockon Rockall is eligible to improve on Sunday, especially while cutting back to one mile. The presence of jockey Micah Husbands (a 29% winner teaming up with Joseph over the last two months) cements Rockon Rockall as a compelling win choice.
#2 Sound Bite (2-1) is another logical contender. After running second by narrow margins in his first two starts in Ireland, he made his U.S. debut on March 27 at Tampa Bay Downs, finishing third after making a nice move into the homestretch. That marked his first start in nearly nine months, so Sound Bite is another runner who has upside for improvement.
#8 Serac (6-1) hasn’t missed the top four in three starts. Last time out, in the 1 1/16-mile Sophomore Turf S. for Florida-breds at Tampa Bay Downs, he ran second in a fine performance. The 81 Brisnet Speed rating he earned is the second-highest number in Sunday’s field, trailing only the 83 Rockon Rockall earned in his debut.
#10 Ciborio (8-1) brings modest Brisnet Speed ratings to the table, but he’s dropping in class off a seventh-place finish in Juvenile Mile S. at Kentucky Downs last September. Adding Lasix for his three-year-old debut could trigger a move forward.
#5 Law Enforcer (12-1) ran fifth in a maiden special weight over the Gulfstream Tapeta track last month and has a shot to crack the top five on Sunday. First-time starter #6 Gallant King (12-1) can’t be dismissed either; he’s bred to excel racing one mile on turf. #3 Senor Roberto (10-1) has shown flashes of talent, and Triple Crown nominee #9 Easy Pick (6-1) could crack the top five for Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse.
Good luck!
