Hot trainer Michael Yates strikes at a lofty 26% rate with last-out maiden winners, stamping My Ashleigh as a logical alternative to the favorite.

Race 10: #3 Zanno (3-1)

Assuming this five-furlong sprint remains on the turf, Zanno looms as the morning line favorite after returning from a layoff to win a $16,000 allowance optional claiming race for Florida-breds at Gulfstream. He’ll stick to the same course and distance on Sunday, but he’s also stepping up against open $25,000 allowance optional claiming company, where he’s far from a standout in terms of Brisnet Speed ratings.

Indeed, many of Zanno’s rivals have run faster races, including the stakes-placed duo of #9 Lontano (7-2) and #10 Big Drink of Water (9-2).
