A few of these horses are coming out of the same race on 12/26 which was ran on a dead 5. Lets start with the 8 horse SOLEMN. The owner of this horse is Sheikh Mohammad, for those of you who may not know, he is the prime minister of the UAE, Monarch of Dubai, and also hosts the Dubai World Cup Carnival of Racing. It began today and continues for 11 days of great race cards with some of the best jockeys and horses in the world which culminates in the World Cup race. In saying all of that, this horse finished dead last in that 12/26 meeting. But with the owner, trainer, and jockey stats alone it will be hard to pass on this horse. The next horse I like is the 3 DESTINY'S KISS. He loves the dead surface and takes blinkers off. He finished 3rd in the 12/26 race losing by 1 length. With first time blinkers off could mean the difference this time when they hit the wire. My selection is the 4I'M IMPOSING, this horse has been red hot and top trainer Chris Waller will make sure this horse stays that way. I'M IMPOSING was the winner in that 12/26 race and I don't see any reason why he couldn't do it again. He has placed in 11 of 21 races with a total of 237k in purse earnings. My longshot play is the 1 WESTERN SYMBOL. He has been out of form recently and carries the top weight in the field which may hurt with this long distance but with top jockey Tommy Berry teaming with Gai Waterhouse don't count this one out. MY selections 4-8-3-1.
