2nd(1) SAILOR’S SALUTE – did nothing in four starts against state-bred allowance foes but woke up last out when she was a good second against this claiming level. Cathy Rozantz wins 18% with her route starters, and the last 79 of them show a flat-bet profit.

3rd(2) JEFF’S ANGEL – was a decent third last out against this class level and draws well here.

Race Five:

1st(4) CERTAIN – drops down to bottom maiden claimers and makes his Tapeta debut here. His last four turf sprint starts were not bad. Ricky Hendriks wins 18% first start after being beaten as the favorite and gets Antonio Gallardo.

2nd(3) GROUNDED – horse for the course won two mid-level claimers in a row here then came back against this level and battled to the final furlong. Tim Hamm wins 20% with his synthetic-track starters and gets Morales.
