SOUTHLAND preview - Wednesday, July 27

July 25th, 2016

Wednesday's twilight racing action at Southland this week looks to be full of exciting & entertaining paw to paw action and will be highlighted by Flying Hemsworth (3) going for his 4th straight win in the first race of the day. As I've been doing this month, I've selected 3 greyhounds that I think have the good possibility of getting a win and I've listed them below. To this point, of the 18  picks I've given so far in July, 8 of the choices have been winners. That includes Sunday's twilight card and the winning pick  came in the 11th race which was VJ On The River. For Wednesday selections, I have listed my MoneyMaker Mike's picks below so be sure to check them out. There will be 18 races on the card for Wednesday's program so make a day of it and let's see if we can't put some cash in your pockets with a couple of winning greyhounds. Best of luck to each of you in your wagering opportunities and thanks for reading.

Race 2 - Getting things started early here as I like SUPERIOR TIGRIS (7 box) to get back on the winning track. She recently came here from the Wheeling track and in her first two starts at Southland came away with a couple of easy wins. The last two times out she's encountered trouble but with her early speed and mid to wide running style, this outside post position should give her the edge in this one.

Race 3 - Looking for a solid upset play, I'll go with K'S BOSS (4 box) in this maiden contest.  He had a lot of trouble in his first official start but I think he will fare better here and I look for him to be among the early leaders and I think he has the ability to kick it in gear down the stretch with a big closing run. Likes it mid to wide and worth a shot in my opinion so I wouldn't overlook  him in your play.

Race 11 - The hard running and talented MEGA NERFETTA (3 box) is my choice here and I like her to be out of the box quickly and find a running lane early in which to battle for the front. She's got a mid-track running style and once she gets the lead, she's tough to run down.
