Fair Grounds: Race 1: $15,000 maiden claiming (6 furlongs, 2 p.m. ET)
#5 Redoux (3-1 on the morning line) has squared off against some tough rivals in his first four starts, including future stakes winners Sittin On Go and King Fury.
The Calumet Farm homebred showed a bit of improvement when he dropped from maiden special weight company into a $30,000 maiden claiming race at Churchill Downs last month, when he raced evenly to finish fifth with a career-best 64 Brisnet Speed rating.
#6 Outlier much too good for the field in Race 3 from @ChurchillDowns.

In a race that isn't deep, Redoux looks to be very competitive, particularly if he shows improvement on the drop to a $15,000 claiming tag. The addition of Lasix could also help Redoux take a step forward.
Let’s bet Redoux to win and key him in the exacta, with #2 In the Arch (9-5) and #7 Joe’s Heifer (6-1).
$9 to win on #5 Redoux
$2 exacta: 5 with 2,7 ($4)
$6 exacta: 2,7 with 5 ($12)
Total: $25
Good luck!
