Thistledown: Race 3: $16,000 Claiming (six furlongs on dirt, 1:50 p.m. ET)

#5 Ilikethat (6-5) tops this field in terms of recent Brisnet Speed ratings. Whereas none of his rivals have posted a number higher than 64 in their last four starts apiece, Ilikethat’s four starts to date have yielded Brisnet Speed ratings of 67, 48 (in a misfire against allowance company), 72, and 73.

Ilikethat enters in hot form, having finished first and second in $10,000 claimers at Mahoning Valley, and the four-year-old gelding is a compelling win threat even while stepping up in class.

#2 Redden (9-5) can complete the exacta.

Will Rogers Downs: Race 7: More Than Even S. (one mile on dirt, 5:07 p.m. ET)

#6 Letta’s Legacy (9-5) has gone 2-for-2 at Will Rogers Downs this year. She wired a six-furlong allowance by 3 1/2 lengths, then launched a late charge to win the six-furlong Miranda Diane S. by a neck.

In the Miranda Diane, Letta’s Legacy finished 1 1/4 lengths ahead of third-place finisher #7 Take Me Serious (8-5), who subsequently finished a close second in the Wilma Mankiller S. at Will Rogers Downs. These two look like the main contenders in the More Than Even, and we’ll bet on Letta’s Legacy to maintain her superiority.

In addition to a cold exacta, we’ll bet a double singling Letta’s Legacy in the first leg.

Dropping in class for a $7,500 maiden claimer should be all Bobcat Bite needs to visit the winner’s circle against this largely unremarkable field.

We’ll single Bobcat Bite to conclude our double wager, then bet him over #1 Too Cold At Home (2-1) in a cold exacta.
